| Description | Eight kilometre run (4.97 miles) along the new River Trail, start and finish at the Brotherhood Bridge parking lot. The last race of the Southeast Roadrunners season, and it counted towards the Empire Cup standings. Rick Thibodeau won in 28:39, 23 seconds clear of Chuck Platt. Lisa Kirsch was first woman in 35:09, eleventh overall. Twenty finishers - sixteen men and four women. Results as reported in the Juneau Empire of 7 November 1999. |
