Description
|
Experience a bit of Douglas' mining history as you race along the Ditch. Race starts at Sandy Beach. Run up to the Mt. Jumbo trailhead on 5th St. and then access the Treadwell Ditch trail about one-half mile up the Jumbo trail. The run follows the Treadwell Ditch trail to the snowmobile access trail above Blueberry Hill, and then turns down to a fast finish at the parking lot below the water tower. Runners 13-years-old or younger must run with a partner. Pre-register by May 20 at 5 p.m. at either Downtown or Valley Alaska Club. $5 to pre-register, $8 on race day. |
